Pod 5

Concept

Re-do the sequence from TMP where Scotty shuttles Kirk over to the refitted Enterprise. However, this takes place several weeks earlier and instead of Scotty and Kirk, it's a couple of Starfleet engineers who are working on the refit. This is their daily commute.
I want to basically take it shot for shot so I can use the same music, but I want to have the two engineers' conversation make it funny.

Script Ideas

"Pod 5, requesting cleance for transfer to Enterprise"

"Pod 5, you are clear for transfer"

as the 2 pods pass each other in front of the drydock.
"morning sam"

"morning ralph"

at the main enterprise reaveal, the music swells...then volume drops

"do you have to play that every morning? We see this every day you know!"

"Just because you have no sense of drama doesn't mean I don't"

As pod 5 sweeps around to back into docking position, we see a flash and a
worker bee begins to tumble away from the dry dock scaffolding.

"red alert, an unmanned worker bee has broken free from drydock. Pod 5, can you intercept?"

"Intercept with what? Pod's aren't armed!?"

"Shut up, it's only a movie" on radio "Control, Pod 5 is on it."

pod 5 streaks after the worker bee and at the last minute grabs it with a
tractor beam and deflects it's course enough to miss the Enterprise.
